Dont you HATE when this happends?
When people dodge 5 games in a row near the end of champ select, wasting a ton of your time, then on the 6th game, you get autofilled to support haHAA nice one riot

This is the reason I reset queue when people dodge games.
I haven't been autofilled in quite a while.
Yeah, the more lobbies you go through, the more likely you are to lose your primary/secondary role and get autofilled.
You have to choose between staying in the priority for the next match que, or resetting and maintaining the best chance for your primary role.
Its sort of a League hack, but lots of people dont realize it.
then you get into game and it's a remake, followed by 2 more dodges,
then you finally get in game and your team feeds.
Yeah, it is messed up that the matchmaking system views dodges a s actually played games... what is the point of autofill protection when it doesn't even work?
It might sometimes be a bug, a glitch, or something. I got booted from match making last second for no reason.
id rather get autofilled support than wait 2 extra minutes for a roll i actually want/can play...wait, i dont
It will be 2 extra minutes at first.
Then 4 minutes. Then 8 minutes. Then 16 minutes. The lack of supports would increase queue times by a ton over time
but then those who actually play support would be hailed as gods and would all end up in challenger due to how few there were and then people would want to play support making it back to 2 extra minutes, maybe even less time then with autofill eventually
or what you said, im willing to risk it
Nobody would play support because a lot of supports would be in challenger.
Playing and maining support is gated by a mindset a lot of players lack. I lost that mindset last season. I'd rather play on a damage role that can push towers now instead of watching my team play team deathmatch after I got them ahead early on.
You can start playing support, but if you go into the game with a mindset of "I'm gonna solocarry this game" or "i'm not gonna sacrifice myself for the greater good" you won't get far.
This guy is telling it how it is.
Interestingly I feel similar about wanting to play a carry role, but then I get ahead, or am just the most fed person on my team early and my team refuses to cover me or peel or even be near me while the entire enemy team is dogpileing on my face.
"Oh, youre 8/1/8 on Brand? We have 16 kills on our side? Thats nice, good luck gotta fend for yourself I gotta clear this jg camp so I can get stronk!! Peel? Wuts dat? Teach me daddy Brand."
Recently I went through my "Will I still support or just perma move over to Mid/Top?" Support often feels bad, but right now Im on a 4 game winning streak in Silver 5, so wish me luck on some day not supporting scrublord ADCs.
got a penta ks (unofficail sadly) from my ww being a badass, i threw him a <3 and gave him a teamwork i hope he forgives me.
i just love playing support and dying, then getting called a feeder because im 0/7/20 and not doing anything productive
feels bad man T_T
i dont mind support, its just that no matter how well you do you cant carry from support, you just have to hope everyone else can, which just makes me sad, cause more often than not, they cant
nami is my bae, id rather main gnar but hey if i gotta support i gotta support.
That is exactly why I have some 20K mastery points on Thresh AHEAD of my main.
namis got about 4k on gnar and 40k on my back up cancer, fiddle.
Fiddle is more cancerous in The Howling Abyss then he is in Rift. Small map you know. Next time Ze Poro King comes out, ruin the enemy team's day with your bouncing silence. It works for as long as their is no tanks in the mid to late game.
M6 fiddle, ik hes godteir aram just not when i play him
I hate facing him, especially if he is on a team that can push you and keep you at your tower. Might as well take free damage. And when you get 10% HP, just go in to the enemy team and die rather than wait for Fiddle's bouncing silence to get you from another teammate.
happens to me all the time
Just play nunu support and press E
Just play nunu support with smite and take the enemy junglers camps : ^)
I personally enjoy playing support. Its personal preference. I hate getting autofilled mid or adc

I don't HATE getting support, but the fact that I got mid 5 times in a row before getting support kinda pissed me off
i fkin hate mid, its my worst lane and im gimping my team if im playing it.
Look at the bright side: No matter how many, the queue time for each game is shorter. XD
Not to be a stickler. But one of these posts appears on the front page every day. So unless upvote farming hopefully people listen.
If you really want Autofill removed, how about instead of making nothing but saltposts. Give an example on how you can get rid of autofill. AND reduce queue times in all Elos, none of that "master-challenger only" cop out. Especially since they have WAY more reason to complain about it than any low elo player.
Besides thats practically 6 game pops, and the autofill counter is probably getting high, is it dumb that it counts that? Maybe, but at the same time that means people are taking a while to get in Queue so autofill will kick in. I recommend stopping your queue after every dodge as it MAY reset your timer slightly.
If anything blame the dodgers for giving you autofill not Riot, they just want you to get into a game faster. Just dont int or dodge yourself when it happens.
the real weird thing is when you are main support and you somehow end in your other roll after ppl dodge some crazy witchcraft put two support mains together?
I mean, I've always enjoyed support, but I understand the comparison. I can't play ADC to save my life, so if I got cheated out of support five times in a row and then got shunted into the position of ADC, I'd probably put my face through my keyboard.
Inb4 you realize each of those dodges were because the other guys got their main role 5 times in a row then got auto filled into your game, so then they dodged. The cycle continues
