Do you still think Irelia and Akali are broken and need to be permaban?

I don't play them, i'm just curious. They both received the Sejuani treatment, after that i honestly don't see them like a 1v9 broken champ :/ yet again i see them banned in my games almost everytime..

No. They are both fine tbh but the boards will disagree with you because they are mostly 12 rangers that are hard stuck in iron lol

Akali is SO HOT3 votes

If you ban Akali or Irelia because you think they are op, then you need to get gud

Akali shroud should not have the time extended. And also maybe the cooldown increased. At endgame she can almost have it up all the time.

Akali's problem was her shroud. But instead of riot removing true stealth they make her restealth delayed long enough for even AAs which I think was a bad move.

Irelia on the other hand, she in general is a bad design that Morello himself said that she wasn't and was just "just add stuff until she feels fine" until she felt "okay".

Personally, Akali is an easy stomp. But Irelia is mostly problematic if played mid lane because there is less counterplay there.

Why is Akali shroud still a problem when it's nothing unique? Dropping tower aggro is pretty common and she can't aggro out of it under a turret because she would always take damage. Increasing the window where you can attack her freely was a great idea.

Because either way she becomes impossible to interact with while the shroud is up, as long as she doesn't leave it she can pretty much auto escape any ganks by waiting the max duration and going to the other end, alongside her mobility. You can't really punish akali, you just won't get your abilities cancelled. She can play safe or aggressive and get away with it, and her opponent can't really do much about it since she can unironically poke them out of lane with Q W auto Q electrocute Auto

I didn't say Akali's shroud is a problem. I said it was a problem. Right now it's no longer an issue but mostly for other players but not Akali players due to how long it takes to re-stealth.

I honestly think that true stealth should have been removed. But given how Riot doesn't care about their customers' frustration, it's clear enough there is no point to even say what should be done, or even have an opinion about anything for that matter.

I feel sorry for the Akali mains because that shrouds looks horrendous for them to use. But they can blame CT for the rework, and riot for ignoring a possible simple solution of removing one mechanic that's arguably toxic for the game. This is just my opinion of course. I'm no Akali expert.

akali bans are a mix of her being super annoying to fight while also being a auto-lose on your own team most of the time so pretty much like yasuo, and irelia is just an overloaded mess of a rework thats gonna have to end up gutted for her to see a even slightly low banrate they really should have sprung for a mini rework instead of a full scale, if they just gave her her current e she would have been a perfectly fine rework but instead they went for a champion thats just too good at too many things

Nasus Vayne Lucian Karthus I never banned Akali and I won't start now, there are planty of braindead champs, that I don't want in my game, but I have only one ban :/

They aren't broken in solo queue. Mid lane Irelia for example is really good in coordinated pro games for setting up team fights etc. Akali's issue is her shroud and how annoying it is to play against in lane. People like to exaggerate how they are both powerful and broken but in actual reality they do have their weaknesses, and these weaknesses are apparent in solo queue environment.
