After struggling against Riven, I bought her and played her....
....and she seems too strong. I don't wanna circlejerk or whatever but after around 10 games I got the hang of her and she seemed too powerful. I could almost insta melt teams, and if I got caught out it was usually ok. In lane it seemed there was little my lane opponent could do, as I used my high damage coupled with cc and mobility to have very favorable trades. The only real weakness I saw in her was that her cooldowns are kinda high early (Then again, I just had 5% from masteries). You could say just cc her, but that works on anyone who isn't a super tank or irelia/olaf
thoughts?
"Your blade is duller than an uncooked sack of potatoes."
: Nasus' 'play still and farm forever' really hurts Riven, who relies on early kills to get ahead. His W forces her to use her Q just to get to him, wasting part of her damage, and makes her escapes harder. His passive also gives him good sustain, which is one of Riven's biggest weaknesses.
: Well, let's be real, Garen counters most people. But anyway, his passive lets him MASSIVELY outsustain her, his Q silence really screws up her combo, and his E lets him do his full damage even under her CC.
: Lulu's poke and AA harass is super obnoxious, even more so for a sustain-less champion. Her shield helps her survive Riven's all-in, her Glitterlance baits out Qs like Nasus's Wither, and her W can be used to both shut down Riven's combo or vroom vroom her right out of there.
: Cho'gath's passive gives him fantastic sustain, and his W-Q combo means that Riven can't really engage on him. His build also accommodates early armor, which is a great counter to Riven. Play careful early, obviously (you're against RIVEN, for god's sake), but Cho can turn this into a farm lane, which Riven HATES.
