Which champions do you feel have no thematic theme in their kit?

Which kits do you feel don't really have a theme or mesh with the character at all? And if so list why other than just personally hatred.

Twitch - Feels like he lacks any cohesiveness when they tried to make him a poisoner ranged assassin, but outside of W really doesn't have much ways of spreading it without item 3085 nor really rewarded for it since as a marksman he just wants the target dead before he is.

Evelynn : Because who knows what she is? I get they try to make her "mysterious", but the way they do it is dressing some random person up in BDSM gear, giving them magic powers, a spooky voice, and expecting them to be taken seriously. Wait...

Ezreal : That little glove he has dominates his theme, not really sure why. He's an explorer, but you'd never guess it. There's not much to go off of, sure, but I guess that's why he makes the list.

Leblanc : Barely makes the list... I want them to play up more of her trickiness, you know, clones and dashing and juking. When you think of her, it's for her burst first, the trickiness second. I think it should be the other way around, Shaco is a good example.

Swain : His own joke makes his issue pretty clear: If we approach strategically from the flank... looks at the bird ah who am I kidding? Let's just morph and eat them. He's a master tactician apparently, but his playstyle revolves around just turning into a crazy bird. Totally wrong, big issue here if you ask me.

Imo, Swain is the biggest culprit. Pretty much every champion's abilities (with the exception of Evelynn) make sense. Maokai throws saplings because he's a tree, Malzahar uses some generic void magic, etc... It at least applies to them. Swain? He just has a few generic spells that don't seem to be unique to him at all, apart from the two bird spells... Which, of course, clash with his supposed "Clever tactician" personality. He needs a rework, I think.

"Thematic theme"

MissFortune actually...a diehard, revenge-driven Pirate and she´s supposed to love-tap-AoE? Before the rework she actually ran at people just to gun them down 1v1, now it´s just all wrong.

Fiora what the hell is this? assasin? bruiser? healer?

Ezreal

It seems odd, but honestly, it feels wrong to me. If his whole gimmick is that he's an explorer, shouldn't he be swinging from grappling hooks and building off of movement, rather than using glorified magic?

Anyone who has a katana yet is more effective against armour...

Sona

  1. Uses sound, yet all 3 spells literally have melee range.
  2. Doesn't grant persistent effects that would be expected from playing songs.
  3. Supposed to play music, yet different cooldowns makes it impossible to choose the song for the situation;
  4. continuing from above, single-use effects makes her a "spam spells off cooldown mage" instead of a bard.

Frankly, Edward and Mog from FF 4 & 6 would be disgusted at this piece of shit Fearless created while he was drunk.

Irelia: Except her ult, nothing really represents her floating blades.

Cassiopeia

The worst. This seductive temptress that beguiles her enemies, until the moment is right to stab them in the back. Instead, you have t his poison-spitting, fang-spamming champion with a passive that has no correlation at all to her persona and lore. The only thing that makes(made) sense about her was her old kit, where she slowly destroyed and corroded her enemies with her powerful poisons until the moment was right to finish them off with Twin Fang.

Of course, Petrifying Gaze made and makes sense, but now that's all that makes sense. Her poisons are a joke. They pumped so much power into one ability, that they made the ability starve her more than she starves her enemy because, you know... A one-trick-pony champion never works.

Shen I love him but I'm not gonna lie and say he fits the whole ninja thing very well. He's more of a Samurai TBH. (More of one than Yasuo, I'd argue.)

Randomonium11/27/2015, 1:19:59 PM1 votes

Pantheon Sure he's a Spartan warrior based off the movie 300 but what exactly is his role? Is he a fighter, an assassin, a bruiser or something else? He doesn't really fit anywhere and the only things he adds to a team comp is his global presence and his strong early game. His kit is really weird too, especially his Heartseeker Strike. Why would a melee champion with only one gap closer and no escape want to have a channeled ability that roots him for 0.75 seconds?
