The one game I didn't ban Zed

He was oppressive the entire game. Scored out an easy 20 kills, and basically deleted every carry on the team before CC and with minimal effort.

Sure I'm complaining but holy shit man, there's a reason why my ban -regardless of what has been picked already- always goes to Zed. Every game this dude pops off like it's fucking fourth of july and the fireworks are the carries!

I thought the assassin update was supposed to give you time to react to the burst these guys have before actually dying by them. If he ults you, you are basically dead. This design has to be changed somehow!

Cmon Riot, gimme something on this dude. I build hourglass on AD champs just to fuck his ult, but I don't feel that's a good design at all.

Having to build one item to completely counter one champion, no matter if the item is ad or ap, is bad design. Malz, Zed, etc.

Zed is a completely broken shitpiece of badly managed Riot trash. There is absolutely ZERO counterplay to this champ and your only option is:

Realize should Zed stay in lane, and you're playing any average midlane AP champ, your best case scenario is to slow lose mid and hope your top/bottom can get a push through.
Don't bother bringing in your jungler, they should help top or bottom.
Farm 100% of your time in lane at 50% efficiency relative to Zed, because this broken unbalanced trash owns the lane.
Stay way out of range. This means hugging the turret within a few seconds of getting behind it. Go out just enough to pick off minions. Do not allow yourself to fall below 70% health. I recommend teleport for your 2nd summoner spell.
Most important - when hungry Zed roams - DO NOT ENGAGE. Back off, waste his time, allow mid catch up on farm, and push to turret which is pressure enough to bring him back in line. Absolutely DO NOT ENGAGE and risk feeding/rewarding the roam.

Any feed throws the match into an absolute shit show. By midgame, hopefully, your adc/tank has outscaled.

I have no idea what Elo you are sir. But if it's less than gold you deserve gold or higher. You sir UNDERSTAND not only zed but also how to play strategically as a team.

Akali has more reliable damage, and can get out of sight in a more reliable and consistent manner (her stealth) she also has more potential mobility and on demand damage chunks. While Akali can be hit by some specific CC like a Blitz Q, she also can avoid the majority CC's faster AND better. And Zed using his R to dodge CC is bad because most of the time it puts him INTO the person who threw CC at him. So he can not use it if he's trying to get away. Over all, Akali would fuck your CC's more than Zed can dream of.

Have you ever seen Zed ult? Duh he ults in to you then presses R and blinks back to where ever his shadow was. That's what I mean- you can't CC him in such a tiny window plus he jumps in and out in all kinds of angles.

Akali, although she's quick, she's still easier to CC because she's coming STRAIGHT at you. I can play against her better than Zed because she's easier in that aspect.
