Does League need even more unique itemization choices?

Hey everyone, just something I threw together. I was discussing with people about the issues with itemization in league and the biggest complaint was lack of an AD upgrade for zhonyas and an AP upgrade for QSS. Let's discuss itemization in league. I question marked Iceborn Gauntlet and Wits End because both items seem to be built both ways(magic damage champs or physical damage champs) depending. I circled Athenes Unholy Grail because while technically it fits the criteria of giving both AP and Magic Resist, it is not necessarily a viable purchase on an actual AP damage dealer anymore. What're your thoughts? I guess I'm more or less curious to hear everyones input on whether or not we need more unique itemization choices for both sides of the spectrum or not. Personally I believe the game is in a pretty decent spot, but it would be nice to see more armor item choices. It would also be nice to see the QSS and Zhonyas upgrades for opposite ends, because in turn, it would allow for a lot more macro counterplay.

Yes.

However, fundamentally I don't think that having identical mirrors between AP and AD is a smart decision at all. It gives more meaning whether your champion is AD or AP than just boring statchecks against Armor or Magic Resistance.

Using Stopwatch as a bridge between Guardian Angel and Zhonya's for example is a really great way to highlight how you can have similar effects with wildly different implications on opposite sides of the spectrum, and both sides gain depth from this divergence.
