Voice chat in Soloq

Why isn't there voice chat in soloq yet? I feel like it would make the soloq environment alot more competitive and help players practice their communication skills for higher tiers alot more often! Thoughts?

Riot hasn't been able to handle normal chat toxicity, trolling, griefing and inting. Voice chat is going to give people a chance to talk nonsense even more. Who is going to police that?

Don't know about you but I really don't think that most players would have the balls to talk shit via voice rather than just say shit over text.

You can try Dota2 to experience it first hand. I heard that its pretty insane in terms of toxicity with voice chat.

Not to say that I attribute its level of toxicity to just voice chat alone. But its certainly a major part of the reason. Otherwise, Dota2 was never known as the most toxic community whatsoever back when I was playing both League and Dota2. (Around S3-4) Heck Dota2 was way more calm in comparison and people hardly even typed in chat, based on personal experience. Of-course, I was mostly doing low-level pvp! But low-level PVP in League was pretty toxic then. Still is, sometimes!

people act like people are going to keep on thinking they aren't human with actual voice chat. it shows here, who hs actually done the voice chat thing and who hasn't.
