Zyra was meant to be a unique champion when she was released. She's been nerfed to the point that people started playing her as a support despite being intended as a mage. For an immobile mage, she has to be fairly close to enemies leaving her vulnerable and her root has such a slow travel time. Are there any plans to address her issues?
She's not really being looked at from the perspective of a rework with new spells or anything like that, but I do believe she's being looked at for small power adjustments in the near future.
I believe her changes will be on patch 5.18. So hopefully we will see some changes next week. I think it's just going to be some small changes though like her passive and plant Ai.
I'm hoping the 5.17 changes were delayed so they could look into her further.
Replace each plant's head with Draven's crazy face
Kind wish they would give her some love. She has the two skins and she has been out for a good while. She uses plant turrets......that opens so many options. Her kit is fine but it takes so long to dish out any damage, she needs a buff for her early game.
Wow I actually like your bush passive idea. It seem very unique and fits her because she is a plant and should be able to communicate to the plants around her. Bushes should give her some advantage over enemy like the vision you mentioned above if they stay too long. GO GO ZYRA.
IMO all she needs is a little bit more beef and prolly some higher AP scaling then she can go back to being a mid lane mage.
i play her like heimer buy zhonyas spam all your spells put ur ult below the plants and done
I dont know about any other map but she is super fun in aram if you know what your doing. She is great for keeping the center bushes warded. Yi and frizz style champs havre a real hard time scoring kills against that.
Maybe a decrease on the cost of e would help. Her q is still best for poke and her e has a good cool down time but suck mana lime water

So you fixed her plant bugs (that we have been living with for years) and then you remove them....
She has such issues
Plant AI not working correctly (they were for a few days then the fix was reverted) Her passive SUCKS She is a massively easy gank and one of the slowest champs EVER Her root duration is too short for a root by all standards
I've heard they are looking into her. I talked to Riot GhostCrawler and he says they haven't been looking into her that much but will talk to his coworkers about the changes I suggested.
