Thank you for not enforcing the meta

I remember a while back Riot was annoyed that people (usually Koreans) were doing ADC/Support top lane, so they weakened the armor of the bot lane tower to make it more of a priority to defend, thus forcing people to duo bot lane. I have no idea when they reversed this change, but I'm very glad they did. People should be able to make their own strategies without them being viewed as overpowered just for being able to compete with the current meta. (IMO the Korean lane swap wasn't overpowered since it gave up some dragon control, so I was really peeved at Riot for nerfing it).

Edit: Apparently patch 4.7

The issues with duo top weren't ones of power, if you recall. The reason duo top was perceived to be a problem was because of the effect it had on the laning phase and picks. The only solo laners you could pick were ones who could survive a 2v1 (not many, as it turned out). And the laning phase was basically completely devoid of player interaction. It went the same way every time, with predictable pushing and rotations.

Ah, I see. AFAIK It hasn't been a problem since they reversed the changes. If I had to guess I'd say it's because giving up dragon control was too risky for the team sending ADC/Supp to top lane.

they then made it so whoever got drag won the game. coursing from that would be whoever won bot won the game. such enforce. very riot.
