In regards to URF/ARURF etc.
It is my understanding the reason for discontinuing "vanilla" urf was that it caused a massive drop off in players and that these new variations of the mode were to try and circumvent that issue.
I would like to propose variations that should be worth consideration, and i'd like to hear what the community thinks of said ideas. Personally i feel arurf, snow arurf and urf itself are failures. Riot opened pandoras box when they brought urf back more than once, it was just an april fools joke after all.
Here we are though, A moderate amount of players enjoy the mode - that is to be expected. It is like using cheat codes in older games. Maybe I am simply just too old, but people used to buy extra add ons for their consoles just for the ability to cheat in a single player game on and old console like the n64.
Down to the point, my simple suggestions are made to employ some strategy while still giving the people who like their "cheats" their fill.
I propose a mix. One or the other is sure to be enjoyable.
Finally my propositions: A:Enable urf rules after the 20* minute marker. It gives a chance to shut down early snowballs. B:Enable it only for the first 20** (wich i find a poor idea but it may work)
A:In this way we see nobody ever gets the "ultimate power" of their favored champs for too long, and if somebody picks a "broken" urf champ, there is a chance to shut them down a bit early and have a chance to outscale.
B:I can't see many arguments supporting this idea, it just makes a massive snowball.
Thanks for reading.
EDIT: I want to make sure it's known i'm not anti-urf, but it's clear compromises need to be made because the orginal is NEVER comming back.
