I feel bad for all of you that still believe Riot can unfuck their game at this point

Because when every moment spent in game is just a complete frustrating mess for half the people playing in it you dont have a good game.

When you dread every patch note, waiting to see which of Riot's top 30, out of the entire 150 champ roster, get changed to be even more unbearable to compete with each other you dont have a good game.

When you have to make an in-game mission to support your "ESPORT" views but your client is too buggy to even register it being done you dont have a good game.

When the developers of the game put more effort into adding an unending slew of increasingly terrible ideas to the "balance" mix instead of focusing on fixing painfully apparent issues that already exist you dont have a good game.

League of Legends is not a good game, and it's sad to see so many forcing themselves to go through this infuriating frustration daily just to do... what exactly? Have fun? I dont think anyone even knows what fun feels like in this game anymore with how much of a thoughtless call of duty click and kill its become...

I just took a statistic view of my current seasons performance. And I found out my deathrate has become 0.5 higher on all champions compared to past seasons. I use control mages. One of the champion classes that do not go in the front or get killed often and I'm a extremely cautious player who nearly wards the same amount as my support as midlaner.

...This game has changed.

The overpowered champions are so blatantly obvious, but the excuse for not balancing them is always "you're just bad, the champion is fine" or "it's balanced in pro play". I'm getting tired of it to be honest.

This game is fun AF. If you disagree, then don't play it. It's not like you paid for the game. Go play WoW or Dota 2 or CoD or something. People love crying about everything in this board :D

That awkward moment when apologists say everything is fine and only the vocal minority is unhappy but LoL is having its worst year since 2014 and revenue is down 21% since last year...

tbh the game is even a pain when winning.

Either you have no impact at all or have to play so carefully because 0/9 "insert any assassin/bruiser/whatever" still oneshots you. Even if you get fed your skill expression is literally zero because the enemy blows up just as fast as yourself.

And to get to your point: I don't think either that the game will ever be stable because Riot destroyed the fundament of the game (balanced runes/masterys and base stats of champions)

The non-vocal people who enjoy this game but dont speak out about it due to the echo chamber the boards is for hating riot enjoy this game. I personally enjoy it because it always changes. People complain that "X is broken fix it" but to me something will always be the best. There is no perfect balance and some people are always going to have an opinion on how to balance the game. But to me I look at each patch as a new challenge to learn something new. I'm an adc main and when marksmen went away I didn't complain. I loved learning the new bot laners and trying some fresh stuff out. I get it though. It can be frustrating to see Graves in all of your games. There will be some down parts every year for everyone but the fact of the matter is league is ever changing so it won't last and new challenges will pop up. I think this whole balance team sucks is just a mentality. People just want an excuse because they can't cope with what's strong and learn new things. Just my opinion however. Hope everyone has a great day!

They can unfuck the game very easily by reverting rune changes and never bringing things like Arcane comet Conqueror Electrocute ect into the game and removing items like Stormrazor Duskblade ect. Also firing CertainlyT and never hiring someone as braindead as him and allowing them to create literal problematic designed champions for multiple years. Oh trust me it's very much possible but they just refuse to do so.

Season 9 is going to decide whether i stay or not. Ill stay through Preseason to see if any problems are being addressed, otherwise if its the same RNG game where you stomp or be stomped then I will uninstall and probably not come back. Thats what happened with me and Call of Duty. Advanced Warfare sucked, I gave them one more chance, they bring exo suits back in the next cod, never played a CoD since, even tho I hear CoD stopped with the exo suits, its too late. Thats exactly whats going to happen to League too, once they start dying, they will be forced to get a new balance team and listen to the community. But by the time that happens, they will already have lost over half their community, which theyll have to bring something big and exciting to the players to even make them think twice about coming back.

The difference is, a game of Call of Duty can be fun... League... well I can't even say "Good try buddy" because its not.

Sad truth. The game has indeed become a piece of shit.

Frankly i dont understand how it devolved into its current state but i doubt it could have done so without Riot actually wanting to take it in this direction. A portion of the community likes it too, mostly the kids who like to play brain dead assassins if id have to guess, they are no doubt having a great time.

And you're right i dont think they will fix it, they dont want to. They will change it just enough to stop a large amount of the complaints

Season 8 is a lot better than season 6 and 7

Season 6 made jungling by far the best role and season 7 made supports by far the best role because of ardent cancer.

At least in season 8, there aren't any roles that are blatantly overpowered and the meta is decent.

Did I mention season 6 had dynamicQ?

At this point, I'm waiting to see what Season 9 does. If there's no fix, then I'm quitting for good. I barely play anyway, but I'm curious to see if they'll lower damage or not.
