A BIG reason why Dynamic Queue doesn't work for League of Legends

It's honestly very simple. One GIANT factor.

Ranked Tier is a SOLO STATISTIC in a team based game

Dynamic queue throws that statistic out of proportion. Now, a whole squad can climb together gaining this odd solo statistic but not earning it solo. Why is this a thing? Dynamic Queue is here to stay. I understand that. Riot understands that. It's a way to bring in money as well as friends. Does it hurt the community? Yes. Does it build a community? Yes. Is it a bad idea? Yes. Is it a good idea? Yes. There are ups and downs to this entire plan. HOWEVER it does not work for the sole fact that your Rank is a solo statistic. And that solo statistic can now be earned in a team.

"But what about duo queue? Isn't that the same idea?"

Yes actually. It's also an issue. However, co-op is a MUCH different concept than team. If you go against a duo, they will have more synergy. But there are still 3 people that are out of the plot. Duo can make it even harder for a team concept if you think about it. Friends are much less likely to doubt one another. And if one of them makes a mistake. The other tends to follow. In a premade team, if everyone makes a mistake TOGETHER it can also be fixed much quicker and easier. Someone will have the brains to say "Hey dont go in there!" or "Let's just group."

Not only this but duos also tend to have that synergy. And where they might malphite into a yasuo ult EVERY TIME, they might not have the follow up they need to win the fight. However, a premade could Malph ult, into a Yas ult, into a Zyra ult, into a Twitch ult, into a Sejuani ult. Nothing can survive or escape that type of synergy when they dont have that synergy themselves. The more brains connected, the more success.

You don't see pro teams going five premade against 5 randoms do you?

I mean, you're right, but that isn't the problem that I have with it.

The problem that I have with it is that when I get those team boosted scrubs in my games, they're on my team and they aren't with the rest of their team.

And they're TERRIBLE. They're SO terrible that there is literally nothing I can do to help them not be terrible OR carry them, because the person who they are matched up against is a soloqer like me and they're good, or at least, relative to THIS fucking scrub that I got stuck with.

And the gameplay suffers. You get shit games because the already bad matchmaking is made 100x worse by throwing in these horrendously boosted shit fuckers.

I am glad for the crest change though. Cause it means I know if they're boosted, so I can report them after the game.
