Anyone Else Having Snowball Problems?

Literally every game I have been in this season has either been a snowball victory or snowball defeat. Since s6 started its been this way for me. And it's always either amazing or depressing. I'm is S3 so maybe that's the problem with low elo, but I was just curious about other people's opinions.

When Riot said they were making games shorter, this is honestly wasn't what I had in mind.... ** (Just to point out, I try to check online what rank my teammates and competition are and it tends to be lopsided one way or another)**

I've had plenty of long games with comebacks (or throws) on each side to be honest.

It happens alot yeah. But I have also had games where the enemy team messes up 1 team fight and its game over for them to. This season punishes super hard on mistakes in team fights. kinda sucks that either team can steamroll all the turrets after the fight but i guess it is what it is.

Snowballing? It's always been an issue, though not nearly as drastic as this season ever before. Which is why I call it an avalanche.

I think snowballing this season is made worse by the elemental dragon stacks. They greatly boost the power of a team with Ocean providing huge amounts of sustain like the old Baron buff and Inferno providing massive amounts of late game stats. Combined with the increased death timers from before, the game is very easy to snowball compared to before.

The game's pretty snowbally overall. The elemental dragons made it worse but the buff to towers still didn't do enough to keep them from being relatively quick to take down and how they deal damage also means there isn't enough risk to tower diving unless you really mess up. The death timers are also still long enough that killing anyone makes it easy to mobilize on objectives and gain a lot of momentum.
