Flex Que needs transparency.

Finished the season Plat 3 with higher than average MMR for my division. Completed first placements (6-4) and put into Gold 1. Ok not that bad after hearing some horror stories of Plats getting placed deep in Bronze.

After "fix" is released I complete 1 game (a loss) and then am demoted an entire tier to Silver 1. I would be ok with this except my MMR is unchanged and I still play against players who last season were high plat/low diamond. It is unclear what the INTENDED drop in rank is to be.** I think there needs to be more transparency on what Riot expect players placement on average to be compared to where they finished in the season.** Simply stating "lower" is quite vague and leads to unmet expectations in many cases on part of the players.

It would make more sense for me to play placements on a fresh level 30 against actual bronze/silver. I would potentially reach my previous rank faster and with better mmr than if attempted to climb from Silver 1 playing against Platinum and Diamond level players.

The "fix" did nothing to fix the grossly disproportionate matchmaking. Diamonds/plats still getting matched against gold.
