Every Pyke i see builds armor pen build - 
And this seem to be total shit imo. Never saw Pyke who dealt more dmg or near dmg to anyone on team or enemy team.
They always sit around 10k dmg in ~30min games...
So why do people build him full dmg if he don't contribute to team in any form or way?
Wouldn't be better to build with some armor/magic def + aftershock rune?

is not good on pyke it works on other assassins since they have some poke and they get great use out of the health but pyke get 0 use from the health and his poke is not good. Also the way you play pyke support is not about dealing damage its about cleaning up kills and setting them up though your damage. Also the reason you go lethality is because it has synergy with the rest of his kit. The build I like is

you're pyke, you're not supposed to assassinate people yourself.
pre-nerfs i used to build 
, helps make you tanky and you get more mana to try and hook people up, also you can generally spam more as pyke.
then i would rush stuff like 
if they have an AP on the enemy team or to help shred tanks. remember, you're here for the clean up using your ult, you dont assassinate people yourself.
post-nerfs, i just rush lethality, because without it, he's fucking useless. i still get a black cleaver every now and then though.
oh, and uh, if you have no idea what his nerfs are, his W decaying movement speed now scales with lethality, it is almost non-existant without lethality...
his E stun duration also scales with lethality, its best to get lethality because hey, more cc.
and his ult health threshold now scales with lethality aswell...
######and riot wonders why this game's going to shit!
