To Those Who Complain About Being Camped

Buy a couple of wards, place them where your accused tent-man comes out into your lane; back away and play passive when he shows up. Obviously if he sees time after time, you back the fudge out when he wanders near your lane, he'll decide it's not worth to camp your lane no more, as he'll be wasting time watching you and your lane opponent play, since you backing away means he can't do anything productive; rather than when you stay in a vulnerable position time after time as he comes by your lane and lurks in the tall grass because you don't know he's there, leading to your death.

Seriously, they'll stop camping you in a few minutes since they started, if you back off every time they show up. And how do you do that? You buy wards and use them!

Here, have my upvote so you're not at 0. Gettin' real tired of people even having the option to downvote without contributing.

I agree. This tactic doesn't make you invulnerable to ganks, but indeed.... most enemy junglers will start to back off after you start to predict them showing up. The more you're able to cause them to fail gank your lane... the better for your teammates! That jungler could be farming or ganking other lanes successfully, but instead you're (hopefully) not dying to your laner or the jungler and keeping up in cs/experience. Plus, junglers love to gank a warded lane.. I know I do!

Thanks, and yeah, I feel like a lot of people get downvoted for no real reason. Then you get those people who post a thread saying, "Diamond and above should only be allowed to use the forums." I call that bullcheese.

Wards don't stop any competent jungler from denying, simply sitting in a bush is already forcing someone to not attempt to kill their opponent, and it denies a laner farm, and if it's top, it can potentially deny a lot of experience as well. They also do not prevent tower dives either. As a jungler, I do not care if they ward or not, I will sit there and deny them until I am needed elsewhere or I will simply dive them if it's mid/bot lane.

Laners realistically can't ward every possible entry way anyways, without completely setting themselves back quite a lot.

Interesting.

I tried to ward but the jungler was waiting in the river and killed me. :(

consider the item 3342 to facecheck bushes first and then ward.

Like, it's just a bandaid, but it's still useful if you're buying wards.

Problem is, a lot of the time backing up won't safe you. If your allies fed their jungler enough he can just dive you and kill you anyways. Also it can be unsafe even to ward since when you get close enough to ward he just jumps out and kills you.

Gettin camped toplane is a horror, because there are too many places for the jungler to hide , you just can't ward - you need 5 wards to be safe there. Middle is the safest lane.

I disagree. If anything, you'd need 3 wards max. But really 2 for the river. 1 you could place in one of the lane bushes, but I don't think that's too necessary. I personally think mid lane is the worst, however because it's shorter, as long as you're not too over extended (unless you have very good mobility), you'll likely be 'okay'.

I dunno. If I see the enemy jungler is heavily favoring a certain lane, I'm probably just going to countergank him/her. The odds will usually be heavily in my favor if I do, and it has won games before. My last Warwick game the enemy jungler would not leave my Jayce alone, and when I counterganked, he got a double and ended up carrying.

The truth of the matter is, if I want to camp a lane, it doesn't matter if it's warded. I'll make damn sure you're losing CS, I can lane gank and I can Flash force a gank with heavy enough CC and burst.

I never thought about the whole, "make sure you're losing CS" thing. It sounds like a good tactic, but I don't think it's worth a whole lot, since you aren't getting much cs/experience too.
