Feeling very Challenger right now.
Being a mid plat player it is nice to feel like a challenger player. With the new champ select, I am finally getting a taste of the good life. 18 minute queues due to longer waits, and much more importantly, accidental 'dodges' when people don't hit the lock in button. This system, which is supposed to accelerate queuing up, appears to be increasing the standard deviation of time-to-game by a lot. It's possible on average it is shorter, but I don't care about averages here. I was perfectly happy with having a medium length, but relatively predictable queueing experience. This seems far worse to me, as we rarely judge an experience by the mean performance, but much more by the tails. Anybody else feel similarly?
To be clear, I overall enjoy the new system, but think that the system to kick players who don't lock isn't a good one.
