Fiddles ult vs other channeled ults

(Disclaimer: No, Fiddles does not need a buff)

There are a few ults in the game that require a full channel to have any effect; Pantheon, Caitlyn, Rek'Sai, and Fiddlesticks come to mind. All of these except Fiddlesticks are generally supposed to be used far away from the enemy. Fiddlesticks is by far the closest range of these ults, and yet he and Caitlyn are the only ones whose ult still goes on full cooldown when interrupted (and Caitlyn's ult has huge range).

Is this a healthy trade-off for extremely high base damage? Or should Crowstorm get the same leeway as Panth's ult, but with nerfed base damage to compensate? Or should Pantheon not have leeway since he shouldn't be using his ult from close range anyway (unless escaping)? I have no idea, what do you guys think?

I main fiddle and the ult cast time vs interruption is one of the best things about it. Nothing feels better than knowing you have just enough distance when an enemy chases you into brush to drop your ult on them right as they enter the bush. Also other than that you should be ulting from the jungle or brush or behind your front line far off with flash ready. I think it's one of the most punishing yet fun things about fid. you get rewarded heavily for spot on ults.

Karthus too.

To some extent Nunu; it does incremental damage, but not nearly enough for something that forces him to stop right next to an enemy for 3 seconds.
