Can we talk about how bad the Grade system is?

Here's me, in an aram game. Yes, i used to be a Janna main a long time ago so, i sort of know how to play her. But that's not the point here. The point is: https://i.imgur.com/4ZwZeOB.jpg

88% kill participation, zero deaths. Oh no, you played to well, lets give you an A grade haha. Crowd control score: 51 (second highest in the game, the enemy cait had 68 as i was stepping on her traps every time she died or was far away) Healed 12k worth of damage. Which was like their xayah and veigar damage combined. Did as much damage on turrets as everyone else except our varus.

Like seriously. The grade system is fucked up. Riot, please fix it, thx.

Like what should I do? get negative deaths? steal kills of people that can use the money to buy damage? seriously tho....

The grading system isn't bad just because you fail miserably to understand it.

And 0-0-37 is not in the least bit exceptional for a Janna on Aram. 88% kp is not the least bit exceptional on aram, period, for any champ. 51 cc score is not the least bit exceptional on aram. 12k heals is not the least bit exceptional for Janna on aram. Am I getting through yet?

Your gold earned is low, your cs is extremely low, your kills are low, your damage done/taken is likely extremely extremely low, as with any other stats since you never 'backed' to buy once. You didn't even execute, to buy and make yourself more useful, and yet you're complaining that the system is fucked?

At the end of the day, you're still scored vs other Janna players, on aram, in the same region. Nothing you did as Janna was amazing or worth an S. And other Janna players, especially those of higher elo, can do much more exceptional and amazing shit than you. That's what it comes down to.

Accept it, and stop blaming the perfectly fine system.

Just a theory - You got zero kills. Supports get at least a couple accidental ones without really trying in ARAM. You didn't die, so you never shopped. It means you were likely not Q spamming, keeping waves clear, or using many abilities while mana starved. Basically, you weren't much different than an afk sitting in a bush that auto attacked an enemy who got too close before a teammate killed them. I guess what I'm saying is it takes more than pressing Q once or twice a minute, and incidentally doing minimal damage to an enemy to get an S rank. Let's face it, you had crap for AP, and likely didn't hit for or shield for much. You guys also won in a landslide. Most of your team has a great KDA. The bar is a little higher I suspect to get S when your peers basically cleaned house. Between a fed teemo, graves, varus, and fizz, I imagine the system barely registers you exist. Supports are tough indeed to get an S on. But if it accounts for how much you shield spam, how many clutch heals you got off, or turrets killed, etc...your screenshots don't indicate an S performance. You performed marvelously at not dying. But so do AFKs who don't leave base. It requires a bit more than what you've linked in your post, but yeah, support frustration is real.
