You almost got it right Rito, but you stopped short of opening up all champs and letting us have bans, so, not playing.

Basically, your half measures didn't please the people who wanted it balanced, or the people who wanted to play what they wanted, you just screwed it up for everyone.

These extra games modes they put out are meant to have fun and take a break from taking games serious. It's mind boggling how many people like you get upset over nothing.
