you nkwo why nobody likes this preseason?

not because new towers are bad not because its getting unbalanced patch after patch not because the buffs from dragon and baron are overpowered

because if you have 1 single bad teamte and you lose the game. And in the firsts 5 mintues you can tell fi youre gonna lose or not because of that single person.

we dont need balance or new changes, we need to be able to win/lose games not because by some lucks the other team ahve a silver player in a diamond game so they lose, but because youre playing well. Not communicating well because riot cannot balance their game in that vision, theyre showing us right now how communication between strangers and sometimes different languages is not working in a online game

Every time I see people make posts like this, they always have this crazy conspiracy theory that only their team ever has to deal with this. Only their team has the troll, or the noob, or the enemy always has superior high elo players on smurfs.

No, everybody has to deal with this stuff, so statistically your rank is exactly where it is supposed to be.

I feel like it is a little bit of both. I played well, but couldn't get past silver 5. Teammates just being silver teammates, ya know. I don't think not being able to "carry" them should dictate where I "belong". Anyway, after spending like 500 games in silver 5, I climbed to gold in about a month. Why? I didn't get a whole tier better in a month, but I got teammates that actually tried lol. I think it is luck, but you need to be good enough to get "lucky". I don't know, I just hate the whole "carry" idea, because your rank shouldn't be determined by how well you can "carry" a team that shouldn't be at that level. You advance to the point that you can carry other players, not to the point where you belong :D....Unless you're like Diamond, but that doesn't really count.

You don't have to carry to gain elo. It's also possible to gain elo by simply not being the player that throws.

In particular, the higher you get, the less likely it is that any one player can carry, and the more important it is that nobody on your team throws.

However, true fairness, true balance, is when NOBODY has to deal with this stuff. Instead of balancing champions and the jungle and snowballing, why not make it so that players of the same skill get matched with each other?

I don't think "skill" is as easily quantified as you think it is...

Epilogue of Life1 votes

ya but a person who goes 5/0 gets matched with someone who goes 0/10...

Deep Terror Nami1 votes

So? If they do this regularly then they will eventually be separated by tier/division (though they now face more skilled ppl and can easily go 0/5 but be way better than the 0/5 guy from before). Should a 0/5 game automatically place you with other 0/5 people in the next match, or should it gradually lower you (as you lose matches because of it)? Because "gradually" is what the ranked ladder system is for. And this is making a huge assumption that people who go 0/5 or 10/0 will consistently do it (which is entirely false. It's quite easy to go 25/0 in one match and feed in the next, which causes assholes to tell you you suck and you belong in bronze).

If you have a better system to determine skill than one that grades you over time, then please share it.

You will throw countless games for other people/get trolled and have other ruins your game on your road to the place you belong, and that is absolutely irritating. One of the bigger problem with this is that the current ranking system requires you to win placement matches on top of the grade over time, and people very often get those who are on their way to bronze in these placement matches. My statement is not that people go 10/0 or 0/5 constantly, but that people who go 10/0 constantly find themselves with teammates who go 0/5, and it is unfair because either the 10/0 has the game ruined by the feeder, or the feeder gets carried to an elo he or she doesn't deserve by the 10/0 player.

thats what I want... but one of the biggest problem of this game is all the smurfs... but its legal to do that

It's not so much as you getting #rekt by pros that is irritating, but how people can win games via being carried by your team. I've once had a normal game, mid Talon VS D2 Brand, and in lane, before 6, he absolutely made my life living hell. However, after my first back 6, I went to roam and got fed off his intellectually challenged team and got fed. Ultimately, I was fed enough to just flash and oneshot Brand despite how he has a Rylies and a Seekers. He ended up 3/9, although he never died to me once in lane, and was up 30 some CS all the time, and I was 15/1, because HIS TEAM was incompetent. Idk about you, but I'd hate to be in the situation that D2 Brand was in.

then what happens when both teams have a 'bad teamte' on them?

I don't like the preseason, and soon to be season, because they keep nerfing snowballing to the point that you almost can't unless you're an Assassin and they've fucked the jungle up to where it's either hyper sustain, buy devourer, or enjoy the struggle.
