Relic shield changes on PBE

The relic shield changed to Killing a minion with "an attack or spell" heals the owner and the nearest allied champion from "by any means" why does this make a difference?

I assume this means that minion kills from item abilities, like the passive on the Relic Shield line, no longer grants the healing.

Basically you can't use Dematerializer+Relic
