Ryze's ult reads- Ryze can move around and cast spells during this channel, which can be interrupted by both SILENCING and **IMMOBILIZING **effects. He should not be allowed to use his ultimate, pop Zhonyas, and be carried away to safety. Zhonyas is an immobilizing effect that you put on yourself. It completely contradicts how you should be able to counter play his ultimate. Why is this like this.
people always complain about this but he's not rooted during his ult which is why he can zhonyas while casting it, same thing with morgana, and same thing with kennen, if they can move during their ult they can zhonyas, it's never been special to ryze, it's a mechanic in league

No as far as im aware.
You think that's bullshit? ekko can still ult when snared wtf? it's an extremely safe ult to have and powerful damage dealer yet has no reasonable counter play or punishment for ekko jumping in eating everything knowing he can just ult out.
On top of that, Zhonya's is supposed to render you untargetable, meaning that practically no effect should be able to affect you during that time, bar Soraka's ult, which is special-cased to heal everyone no matter what. It sounds like Ryze's ult is also special-cased to work with Zhonya's, but considering how practically every other long-ranged blink is saddled with a long, easily interrupted channel time, I don't think Realm Warp should really be an exception to this, particularly since Ryze's status as a battle mage means he should be one of the champions least deserving of a get-out-of-jail-free card (he's meant to commit to fights, not simply skirmish).
