So I get either the "Omg please don't" or "People make stupid stuff work" on my Fid Mid. I wanted to see how everyone feels about Fid Mid. I basically play him Mid every game I can.
This is just a random discussion and the results wont really sway my love for Fiddle.

That is a pretty big reason why it doesn't work. I will say though it is excellent into many assassins.

Violet Fields3 votesI only pick him whenever I'm against Katarina. His damage, besides his ult, really just comes from his W, and it has this short delay before casting it making it a chore for all the damage to come out of it unless you have a Leona on your team.

He has heavy mana costs and his waveclear isn't the greatest unless you max E first. Even then, it's ehhhh. Also, this means you lose out on trading with his W.
His ult is always good, though it has such a high cooldown.
If you have a team that could protect him or a jungler who knows how to gank, Middlesticks is not bad of a champion. Though, he becomes more supportish as the game goes on. One good ult can change the game into your favor, however.
CremeRolls1 votesI don't have that much of a problem with mana. If you spam a lot of abilities I can see that. I mainly just E the whole lane until I can move in close on the minions with W and E. it puts a false sense of hope on the enemy and then they become the main target of E to the max. I always Max Q first in lane because you're definitely right about the jungled. If the harmony is there with a Fid mid and any jungle, it's like instant death in seconds.
