Sion Nasus Jax are nice fighter/tank top laner if you know how to play them.

Sion is a good one but requires you to correctly play around his weaknesses and build patience for the late game

Malphite is absurdly good in the jungle, and also has a strong presence in the toplane against AD fighters who don't do profound mixed damage. Malphite also has an immense attack-speed debuff engrained in his kit so withitem 3143item 3110 he is super satisfying to play in the current meta where mobile AD/AA-reliant Champs run the show.

Udyr was another one I was considering voting for as he's also quite good.

Edit: LMAO @ tryn being one of the top-voted 'tank/fighter', he's as much of a hypercarry as Yi is and hardly fits the bill

Jax can do both and is extremely broken right now. If you want to learn a champion that will be viable in almost all levels of play I suggest jax. He is relatively easy to play and if you learn his combos is very strong.

Sion is very tanky, with his stacking W passive, has more CC then I think any of the rest of the people on the list, which, when you think of tanks, is one the fire requisites. Further, of all the tanks on there, Sion deals the best damage in my opinion. It's generally reliable, ha some poke to help him from just getting purely kited and he synthesizes really well with all of the new juggernaut items. I love playing Sion top or jungle (everyone underestimates the power of a level Sion gank.) If I'm top lane, I rush Black Cleaver then into some combination of Sterak's Gage, Dead Man's Plate or Banshee's Veil, depending on the matchups.

If you are looking for a little cheesy jungle pick, I once played Sion with Cinderhulk, Black Cleaver, Frozen Mallet, Liandry's Torment and Rylai's Crystal Septer. It's not a great build but it's actually really fun to build all damage based items but still reach 4000-5000 health, thanks to Conderhulk passive and W passive.

I'll just tell you what I feel each of those champions does. I'll start with supports. Alistar and Taric are great supports and that is the only place I would play them.

Udyr is mostly a jungler. I find him of little use when I lane. I will say the same for Ammumu, but they are just tankier.

Jax, Tryndamere and Cho'gath can lane or jungle, and I have them listed in what I feel their current strength is. Jax is an insane Hyper Carry if you build the hybrid items on him.

Sion, Nasus and Malphite are pure solo laners. There are a few who like Mal support, but I am not one. Sion and Nasus are all about farm stacking though. Sion does it to get super tanky, and Nasus does it to increase his Q damage. Malphite is about getting to the teamfight stage without falling far behind and having a couple tank items built.

I haven't tried him this patch, but before I would have mana issues. I would also always keep one Smite up to always contest the dragon after the first clear.

Well mana issues are somewhat fixed with the changes and he's one of the top junglers atm so I would say practice helps

I'd say Nasus from that list, especially for solo queue. Just learn how to farm stacks well and play the early game safe and you are guaranteed one of the strongest late games a fighter/tank can have.

You forgot to add Dr. Mundo, Evelynn (who plays as a fighter/bruiser even if her tag says assassin), Rammus (most people think he's a tank but he plays more like a bruiser because of his passive and damage output), Singed, and Xin Zhao. I don't know if that means you already own them or if you just aren't interested in them, but Mundo, Rammus, and Xin Zhao are all very strong in the jungle right now, as well as top lane if you get the right matchup.

Also, Amumu is only 450 IP. He's a solid jungler, but he isn't good in a lane and becomes less useful when your opponents learn how to counter jungle, which means he is less and less effective the higher you climb in ranked.
