honestly, i wont even ever look at anything riot makes or does at this point. because i am to salty over what they did to the main game..

nah. they're trying to transition to a faster paced game to compete with overwatch and similar titles, but the original game has too many people complaining that the ttk is too short. so they're making another game and in the mean time they're rebalancing the current league settings to attract the middle ground.
if that's the case... then we need to get rid of some towers... because the game is mostly decided at an early stage and everyone is just wandering around waiting for death timers to go up and close out.
The game is overwhelmingly full of people who have something they want from it and could care less about the other people playing with them.
you got it wrong, they are transitioning the platform to a cosmetic delivery vehicle, doubling up as advertisement slots for any buyer's. we shall see just how worthwhile this LV hookup was when they make another link with someone.
LV, rather than getting a league team to win the world championship, got skin slots by buying them from rito. what does that mean for balance? design direction? creativity? probably nothing in the grand scheme cause rito have a full roster to make use of and they've been doing this skins thing forever with their own ideas. but senna for instance, she got a LV skin just come out, couldn't be meaningfully nerfed before that. ekko probably also got a prestige ting coming cause it's just an obvious thing to do as far as I'm concerned, he's not gonna get nerfed in a way that matters till then, maybe LV will be stacking racks on that too. and then they'll count the money and tell their friends and this will be the new league, only pretty champions that can model an aesthetic will get to be strong.
now we wait to see the obvious boyband variant for KDA at the end of the year, probably with an ekko hookup because he's the most popular from the true dmg thing. sett, aphelios, ekko, maybe Lee sin or sylas, and some other new champion. or two as yet to be new champions instead of Lee or sylas. I mean fuck it rito have worked thermself to here, they got flexibility now. I mean shit they could even rework xin and put him in the boyband, I bet that shit prints money in China.

I personally don't play games under that company anymore, so that strategy fails and I hope I'm not the only one doing it lol. Just because they release a new shiny game won't make me trust that company that I know will eventually ruin another game.
