Sorcery Keystones need to be more diverse.

The arcane comet and the Send Aery are just so similar... There are a lot of mages who don't get a keystone that fits them at all because we basically have two keystones in sorcery. DFT users got screwed over so hard, and champs like vlad who used stormraiders can't use phase rush if they dont have an easy way to proc 3 seperate abilties. I think riot should change one or something idk. Arcance comet feels very very underhwelming btw riot.

"Do I want to run electrocute...or electocute?" is me right now with mages. Why on earth would you ever want to use the only dodgable keystone lol

Aery is good if you heal or shield though.

Phase rush obviously for champs like cass.

Comet works amazing if you have a skill like velkoz that slows, it becomes impossible to miss practically. I am guessing lissandra q poke will be similar.

I can see the frustration when there isn't a slow attached though. Like all the masteries old and new, it works better on some champions than others.

Comet is the go-to keystone for DPS or poke casters. It has its cooldown reduced by landing abilities and deals significant damage. It also lands pretty often on its own, and any amount of cc is pretty much a guaranteed hit.

aery is just soooo clearly an option for every single support that comet is left for champions that would reliable let the comet fall, aka anyone with a single target CC skill, like lux morgana and annie can make that comet hit aery while much easier to hit does less damage

Mages should have gotten an attrition keystones. Something to give them staying power so they don't always have to rely on burst but can go back to more poke oriented laning.

i feel like Electrocute should be in the sorcerry tree instead of phase rush and Glacial augment instead of summon aery

that way the sorcerry tree would be somewhat more focused on mages and ap champions with summon aery being in a tree thats more centered around supportive play styles and phase rush in one thats more about fighting/brawling/skirmishing

i like what they are tryna do with the new rune system but i agree with your point. Not only does the sorcery tree need to be diverse, every tree needs to be more diverse with waaay more options. giving us six different runes isn't enough to make up for the runes AND masteries. i think what Riot should do is tone down the lesser runes a bit and add waay more option and give us more than six slots. maybe even another tree. And the greater runes could really use tweaking but thats what preseason is for and everything being out of whack is normal for pre-season.
