Karthus Ult Needs to Change

The worst thing in the world. Ult-ing someone who should perish, and they live with 10 HEALTH. Veigar's ult received an amazing change towards missing health damage, so I do not understand why they have not swapped Karthus' as well. His ult can already be easily countered by a support or a shield, due to the ridiculous casting time. What makes Karthus Karthus is his global pressure to finish off weak champions, not just deal sub par damage to every champion. He has many downsides, and so I just like to make the point that what he is good at should feel like he's effective more easily, especially with the release of the item Redemption. I love this champion, but he needs an ult lift. Otherwise he currently is the most dissatisfying champion in my pool.

I survived a karthus ult with 1hp and my team was like ummmm how did I survive, if he had deathfire grasp i'd have died but nope he ran thunderlords lol

I think it's fine just the way it is, honestly it's hard to play against BEFORE their items/shields come online, but it's balanced in the sense that it has a long cd but a lot of damage in return.
