With no real reason to upgrade your SS til last item, how about a small change to the upgrade, if you have a RSS, you should be able to click on any ward you place and upgrade it instantly to a pink ward. This obviously coming with 1 charge til you fountain again. Thoughts on this?

What do you mean no reason to not upgrade? o_o Not having to buy anymore wards period and more health is more then enough reason.

Yes and that's a reason to buy item 2049 .

I have no incentive to buy item 2045 until it's all there is left to buy.

Yes and that's a reason to buy .

I have no incentive to buy until it's all there is left to buy.

You can only have 2 wards out from the sightstone meaning you are always going to have to spend another item slot OR take up your trinket slot to have the full 3 wards out.

Base SS holds 4 charges and you can place your 3 obligatory wards with it.

With Ruby SS you pay 400 for the additional charge (5 stacks instead of 4). That is all the difference there is between having item 1028 + item 2049 in your inventory and item 2045 in your inventory. It's only useful if you really have to stay out of base for extended periods of time, other than that, there is more to do with the 800g needed to turn into than get a worth of HP and one additional stack.
