New champ Lock period

Ok lets face it. Ranked is a stressful period of game play between 10 people. And yea the new champ is normally pretty strong or at-least until people get an idea on how to counter that kind of game play. But the real issue is when a new champ is released and the first thing you do when you go to ranked is the people who just bought him/her/it cuz kog'maw is cute and deiced ranked is the first place to play.

what id like is to see riot take some kind of action towards this. Its not fair that 4 people lose LP for the inexperience of the 5th playing a champion that just came out. it is not fair for 4 of those people to get marks on their promotional periods due to these new champs and players who have no familiarity with them. So i feel as if setting a Restriction onto them for the first day / day and a half would be a good idea.

now lets step back and look at the picture. League has a tier system for people who play champs quite often. i mean , having a shiny red banner on your character and a new emot is pretty cool. and i understand that a day/day and a half restrict to rank on a new character could be unappealing to most players. but again , lets get real. No one wants a first time Kindred , or a first time lee sin or whom ever on their team. It causes worry and friction before the match even starts.

So an alternative is that players get to a certain Tier with them before that period is up and that would lift the day/day half restrict.
