God the pick pool at worlds is crap

and top. jungle ( you wanted more Lee pro play, u got it Riot, basically every Fucking game...(when you buff a champ that was already doing well)) and . and mid are the go to's with a sparse strolling in. , , adc. and again and again. I'm getting bored watching the same 10-15 champs each... there are 100+ champs to choose from.

Maybe it's just these champs that make the best comps. I dunno, I'm silver and I don't understand everything I see in a full team and what comp is formed.

It's just getting so dull watching the same champs played.

(It may be different players with different skills, but the champ roster is suffering.

Right now, 46 of 132 picks. (34.8%)

Thats from 16 teams and 18 games (meaning 180 champions were picked)

out of those 46:

10 were only picked once 19 were picked 2-4 times 14 were picked 5-9 times 3 were picked 10 times or more (Ezreal, Nami, Karma)

I didnt took note on the bans, so thats only the pick number)

I don't watch the worlds but Nami is being picked? Did I miss something that makes her actually a better pick than Brad or Braum?

There was also ashe, lucian, Graves, kled(?!), vlad, skarner, bard, braum and many more that were picked once in a while.

Yea there are 100+ champs, but this isnt bronze when you can build annie ADC and win, in LCS they play on strategic level where comps are way more important than specific champion. There will always be champions who excel at specific niche and the meta right now favors them, last year we had FUCKING URGOT and he got old fast until he was dropped outta meta.

Every LCS is like this, it's meta picks, the meta changes not the inidividual picks.

In a Best-of-one, people don't deviate from known good picks. You don't get a second chance. There's no room to experiment.

Once we are out of group stage and the Bo1, you will see some pick deviation.

Few things contribute to this:

It's best of 1's, meaning that no team wants to bust out a secret strat. (You gotta pick safe stuff or risk losing.)
The pick-ban phase is awful, which will hopefully be fixed next year.
A lot of the champs who could have used buffs (COUGH BRAND COUGH) had these buffs revoked because they were "fine" in solo queue.

Again: If you wanna see pro diversity, you have to let Riot balance around pros. But nobody is willing to do that.

vlad played, olaf a lot. you named like 10 champions, varus' was featured less than half the champions i have mentioned.

It is pretty boring watching the same champs fight, but not only do they chose the same champs every game, they chose the most boring ones. Kennen is actually somewhat fun to watch, the rest are 100% residentsleeper worthy. Id like to see some Fiora Illaoi Darius Leblanc MasterYi Riven Sona Teemo Zed Yasuo champions, and many others that would be at least somewhat watchable. Oh well

To be fair, we've also seen some Orianna at worlds, something that wasn't seen at all this season really, and you left out Jayce which is a pretty dominant pick. Idk if there's any others as I haven't seen all the matches, but those are a few examples.

You need to look at the bans too. Part of the reason why the pick pool has been so small is that teams are target banning niche picks because they don't want to risk playing against them. For example, every team has been banning Zac against C9.
