can we do something about smurfing and boosting already
Its pretty obvious there is a massive smurfing and boosting issue in ranked. AT what point is riot gonna do something about this?

What would you suggest riot does to fix it?
I really despise threads that say "there's a problem, do something about it!" but offer no plausible solutions. Can we do something about THAT instead?
Okay. What do you want them to do? Do you have at least a 99.99999% success rate detection system in mind? One that won't get a false positive more often than 1 in 10 million times?
Smurfing isnt against the rules, and boosting is already an immediate ban.
And what if you are leveling up a new account? Hmm?
Riot makes money from people making new accounts. Give them a reason why they should stop it.
I just want to add that there is a way to do this. The one way to solve this is to Link accounts to the Device-MAC-Address. One address = One account. You cant physically change a devices MAC but you can spoof them within windows. That would still be more then a lot of people would want to do just to play a game. Legit I mess with banning peoples' phones using their mac at my school campuses. Their are some smart cookies that get around it but most people just take the L. Riot doesnt want to solve this issue because people having multiple accounts boosts their numbers and their income. Honestly if it was like this perma bans would actually mean perma ban... People wouldnt be so toxic cause they wouldnt just be able to make another account... This literally would help solve multiple problems causing the toxicity in the community... (Edit Blizzard already does this with battle.net accounts so people wont account share. Dont tell me it cant be done).
