Well i dont know how the system goes but from what i know if your mmr is way higher than the devision ur currently in so you will jump 2 devisions instead of going for promos and i didnt. i dont know if a 1900 mmr ~ compare to 1300 ~ is not high enough but i dont know whats going on anyone have answers?

You have to win promo before you jump the divisions. If your mmr is higher than where you are, you will jump after you're promoted
I got to the promos in gold 5 won them and instead of jumping 2 devisions i'm gold 4 with plat 3 mmr. what?
