after playing 5 years of league i decided to quit because we top laners arent important

i dont really know what to say ive tried engaging in forums and also making a youtube channel about league of legends but i dont feel its useful at all. my peak elo this season was diamond 2. ever since preseason with the new runes i dont play good anymore. i dropped back to diamond 5 people always says 1.2k games played 51% win rate you really suck and stuff and i was also toxic in return this shows that your ban system isnt good enough people can get away with alot of things and never get banned. i play nasus,hecarim,graves,karthus,zed,jax and aurelion sol and as a player who plays them alot i feel very sad that i cant play them at all i tried my best to theory craft all of them especially nasus doggy :3 and the end result i just the same there will be a game that i will do decent and think hey maybe phase rush isnt that bad and the next game i go against a pantheon who destroys me so i just get really upset. and start saying pantheon takes no skills. i was once the rank1 nasus on NA and rank 12 and now im rank 28 on EUW or lower since i demoted.

the only 2 rioter who ever replied to in 5 years once was Riot Maple Nectar Riot Ender L

i try my best to engage to help you guys but you dont seem you guy need my help at all so i think its best if i stop posting stuff now :C

You say you arent seeing any success with nasus, yet you want to give advice for him? That doesnt really add up for me.

Are you quitting or not? Its hard to tell when your post doesnt stay on topic at any point.

Yes, top lane is in an awful spot - but it’s still not as bad as support in season 2. Quitting because your role is no longer 1v4 material seems childish to me.

I’m stuck in dia 4 myself, but that doesnt mean i quit. I just keep trying to figure out ways to be useful again. Atm it seems the only way to be a relevant top is to duo with a jungler, play a burst assassin/bruiser and have your duo snowball you.

Well meta wont adapt to you, so you need to adapt to meta. Meta now is tanks on top lane. Not juggernauts, but real tanks. Ornn, Maokai, Singed...

so it's actually riot's shitty balance team that dictates what champ we should and should not play? cause obviously its them who makes any champ meta/non-meta. We as a player, who play this game, has no say in what we want/should play?

Exactly. Its Riots balance team who pushes certain champions ahead and leaves certain champions behind to make meta dynamic and keep game fresh. You can play whatever you want, but that doesnt mean you will always have same success with it.

Well yes, im supporting this. Now its period when bruisers are weak. Few seasons back was period when bruisers were stupid strong and carried entire games. Everyone gets to shine.

If you think keeping tanks strong in the top lane for the last couple seasons is keeping the meta diverse then you need to look up the meaning of that word.

Yes you can find success with other champions sure, I main Jax and Illaoi but my Laning phase/impact on the game could be so much easier/more if I found tanks more enjoyable to play.

The fact is top lane has 40+ champions and keeping one small group of tanks viable at any given time makes top lane easier to balance since you are only balancing 5-10 champions against each other and the game as a whole easier to balance. If you force tanks top then it opens up options in other lanes. Jungles can be assassin's/divers/tanks, support can be tanks/enchanters/mages etc.

You CAN still main others if you try hard enough but goddamn Its hard and tiring always being slightly behind from the start every game.
