Swain sucks

It's not a matter of just being different, he had a unique theme that was ruined. There was nothing wrong with a nice tanky sustain mage.

His q is fine damage, his w doesn't even make sense, his E is worse than the old w, and his ult is just bad...its just infinitely worse than his old R.

I wonder if riot doesn't seem to understand the most logical way to ensure a quality product is to develop it with the playerbase, instead of working with swain players to make a rework they did it all alone and created this abomination.

It's not just damage, it's that the theme of swain what made him special unique and interesting were thrown out for this random hodgepodge of a mage.

Feels a lot more like a battle mage now then a drain tank. I will miss Beatrix but he feels much better in relation to his lore and expectations then he used to. I agree there is nothing wrong with a tank sustain mage, I just don't see any reason what swain has to be that. Dudes SMART... so here are some point and click abilitys and AOE that require no real thought, do you have manna, can you land it, they are in range... cast away! Dudes calculating...so Bird demon and rush face first into everything you see. Dude is from Noxious, lets make him a evil Saturday morning cartoon baddie.... and he turns into a demon so you know hes hella evil.

Lore, look, kit. All have improved for the guy especially in relation to one another. My personal opinion, your welcome to disagree.

He sucks now. Don't play him. No matter how you play the ADC, master yi, or anyone with ignite, will just out dps your healing no matter how you play. It makes his ult completely useless. People are like "IT'S NOT MEANT TO SAVE YOU." How do you know that then. Are you a riot employee? No you are not. So what makes this person think that he can decide what an ability is for. Without any evidence.

He's my main mage now, he's so satisfying to hit chunky Q's and pull people, feels good. I play him botlane whenever we miss AP damage and he stomps lane pretty hard against none bully marksmen (Draven).
