Riot I think you should take a look as this sums up everything.

This video is by The Act Man and he has some concerns for league and the gameplay and how it's changing I totally agree with all that he says. I would say from looking at the boards his view is a sum of what everyone is saying. Maybe its time you listen to the community.

I want to be able to play who I want and still have a chance even if it's not meta if I play them with skill.

I want fun champions again and skins for all champions.

I don't want a map change.

I don't want a rework for every champ every month.

I want fun game modes back not just ARAM and SR.

I want to be able to play without everyone getting pissed after one mistake because now one mistake costs the game no matter what it is.

I want fun in back in league again.

LOOK AT THIS VIDEO. NOTICE HOW THE HEALTH BARS OF EVEN CARRIES DO NOT GO FROM 100-0 IN .1 SECONDS.

Who Is The Act Man?

Im only 16 min in but so far this is the best video on this topic i ever seen. All true. His comment about ChoGath "1800 true damage with 1 click, yeah because thats balanced" lmao

I do have to point out that it is a double edged sword. Change is inevitable and without change many people will grow tired of the game and move on. At the same time many people do not like change and want what they are used to and like the game from a specific state. There will never be pleasing all of the sides as much as that is the goal

In all honestly the Rework part made me angry and then tear up since i remembered my beloved Jungle Yorick. Now he got replaced by his cooler, bulkier Brother who has the same name.

Guess what, i dont play him anymore, because i cant. Yorick is literally dead now, and his replacement with the same name isnt him in any way, and never will be.

I can only pity anyone who went through the same Pain that is seeing your favorite Champion getting slowly and steadily walked to the Meat grinder thats labeled "Rework"

Bonus Points for the Reworked Champion to reach the same level of "almost noone plays him" just to put extra salt in your wounds from ripping your Favorite Go-To Champ from you to achieve nothing for nobody.

Its been so long and the wound is still there. I can 100% relate to him here. I lost a Part of me that Day.

Change happens. You either change with it or you don't.

Aatrox main here, I don't play him anymore since about a month ago because I can't bear to think that in a while he's going to be completely scrapped and all the effort I put into learning him, his kit, every little detail about the champion is going to change. And this comes at a time where he is not a bad champion. It just doesn't feel good at all.

I rememeber some things like Dominion and about "catch the Teemo." A game I really enjoyed exclusively on Dominion. And for the most part it was very fun until Riot decided to remove it. I also had some champs they did have reworks I enjoyed but then there are some champions reworks that are so complicated that I don't even understand. Yea... I think change for the most part has been a pain in the backside, and I guess for the most part the changes that we ever need aren't as prevalent as all the crazy changes and mechanics Riot has unnecessarily implemented. I have been TRYING, been TRYING to be as innovative as I can on ARAM (the only game I enjoy for the most part) and still I get beaten down by certain champs I hate going against at times.

I did pick up Taliyah lately and she's been a really good solid champion for me (for the most part it was even fun on ARAM at times) and now with 8.11 they gutted her ult, made her q not AOE. (I thought Tali was op by then) I started realizing that league of Randomness is not the same to me as it once did, when you pick and try to innovate instead of Riot trying to pigeon-hole things out of existance and make them even more boring to play (mostly adcs because it's all the same to me, sure KogMaw is different from Draven but that's mostly because of the aa's thing.)

Most of my matchups have been... very sad lately and some changes to popular champs have not been fixed while the "unpopular" have been gutted, reshaped, hardly crafted, and even twisted their kits. Yea Galio feels more like a generic hero gargoyle type of thing. Gangplank is still salty but never the same as the old one.

Too much change is unfun, and I get it from him.

I want dominion back... make it better for some players who enjoyed it.

Watched this vid already some time ago, only explains what league was to him. :/

Also I'd like to take this time to mention that the assassin update was a mistake, and that devoting an update purely to cater to a low elo audience is not a change that myself and other players liked to see.

The problem is they are reworking the same champions instead of working on the ones that really need it. I don't mind VGU and we need more. I have a problem when they don't take anything into consideration when they work on a champion. Karma.

Change just for the sake of change isn't good.

And that's what league is. Riot is changing the game for the sake of change.

So far every modern champion rework since WW has evolved them into more toxic designs than before. Honestly I think they were fine. They were all good in their own way. Now we have new WW :/. And Galio was super good until he was nerfed underground. New Irelia is more toxic than old Irelia. Sucks

Everyone who ever makes a video like that (or a post like this) should title it "I HATE CHANGE!"

Blakiepug6/5/2018, 10:49:47 PM2 votes

I saw this video yesterday and it definitely echoes a lot of what I have been feeling lately. Really hope a few members of Riot watch this video to understand why so many players have not been happy with this season.

In particular, the part on reworks really touches me as someone who used to love playing the old Galio. I get that a lot of players love to see new VGUs but they don't have any sympathy for the players who already love that champion. Nobody understands how devastating reworks are until their favorite champion gets reworked because they don't relate to players who play champions that they personally don't care about.
