can someone tell me why everytime i get a gangplank 1 trick on my team

he afks mid or top depending on his role and refuses to budge while his laner roams and actually plays the game?

im not trying to stereotype but they RARELY win lane and always do nothing for 25 minutes.

its SO frustrating.

its like people play him to get carried for the first 25 minutes.

ive yet to see one gangplank in the past 30 gps move or roam or EVEN LOOK at another lane.

all they want to do is go to sleep and hope their team can pick up the slack.

rework this champ to actually invite people with brains in laning phase.

last game i gave up 25 minutes in because our gp was losing lane to a kat that outfarmed and roamed top/bot about 7 times each.

this guy didnt move once.

he just didnt even want to try.

he wouldnt even ulti or combo correctly. he would jsut go for last hits with the ulti while the jungler did all the work for him in mid.

Gang plank is complete ass in 1v1 because his base stats and base dmg, he'll rarely try to fight without triforce, and his teamfighting is super hard until his barrels tick down faster so they usually just farm until lvl 13 when the E is maxed out and they have some CDR

They afk farm because they have no other options

Because he's a scaling farm champ with a really weak early game. There are a lot of other champions you don't expect much from in the early game either.

Ryze, Cassiopeia, Kassadin, Kog'maw, Vayne, Azir, Dr. Mundo, Kayle, Vladimir and Yasuo, all of these champions are assumed to be working only to survive their lane with no one really expecting them to influence any other part of the map until at least level 6.
