KNowing I could get Dorans shield and ACTUALLY survive laning if I don't fuck up and guess who I see abusing it more????

Who would have thought adcs would have let this item go? Nope.

Now it's going to get nerfed and it's mostly on this cockroach role that it is .

Just when I could play riven again and not lose every matchup in the meta .

Melees can't have anything good in this game so long as riot keeps releasing items that are both ranged/ melee but specified for melees .

Doran's shield is not getting nerfed because marksmen build it, it's getting nerfed because it is the strongest starter by far.

You mean like Death's Dance being introduced in the Marksman update to help ADCs deal with burst, and yet it is abused by Riven and Renekton.

You mean like Phantom Dancer being redesigned for marksmen, and Yasuo abusing it?

It works both ways.

Hydra isn't used that much tbh as there are better options .

Deaths dance is being abused by draven the most btw so good one .

Yasuo can be played adc just as well

Just get buy on a long sword and build early or start buying corrupting potions. Really the only options after, it won't hurt Pantheon or Renekton much IMO, I mean Panth I always start Corrupting, and the only way it hurts Renekton is him no longer having an OP start against a tough lane, just gotta make sure you win the trade, get in, do the damage, get out.

Sorry, but this thread loses alot of it's credibility with the phrase "cockroach role". It clearly shows that you are highly biased and we shouldn't take this serious.

But let's try to have a discussion here, ok? Doran's Shield, alongside the other Doran's items (Ring and Blade) are starter items. These starter items are intended for everyone in this game. Doran's Shield was never exclusively intended for melee champions.

It is an item to make you survive tough lanes. Believe it or not, even marksmen can have tough match ups. And therefore it is totally legit for them to take this starter item to help them survive.

Doran's Shield doesn't get nerfed just because marksmen are using it, they are allowed and intended to. It gets nerfed because as an overall item it is just too strong right now.
