If you think Sona has never been in a bad spot since her rework, since the lifesteal addition of Ardent, or even Ardent's debut, feel free to change my mind.

Until then, Sona just simply cannot get the job done with AP alone. Ardent destroyed her kit and was then nerfed solely because of her abnormal synergy to the point where it has essentially become her personal item. She cant be an effective healer without it, and even then the boost is so small (+8%).

Note, I want this to be a clean thread, no unnecessary downvotes or insults please...

Sona is a fucking monster lategame, she's more or less unstoppable with athenes + ardent lategame

she really struggles early game now though, her heal is absolutely the shittiest sustain ever made early in lane
