Is yasuo underpowered?

I mean why play yasuo when you could just play tryndamere or something? I feel he's pretty underpowered, especially if he gets behind, im not really sure where he shines most

His kit is horribly designed, but he's not overbearing or OP by himself atm.

If he has a comp that synergizes with his ult, though, he can get fed pretty easily and carry.

He is strong when someone puts a lot of practice into him, or you have someone else on the team being a good guy and handing you success on a silver platter, like an Alistar, or a Malphite.

Yasuo at the moment is either, your insanely good with him and hard carry. Or team reliant and needs someone else with a good AoE knockup.

If you don't know how to use Yasuo, Go ahead and use someone easier. But a good Yasuo is always awesome on your team.

He is high risk - medium reward champion at best right now.

"Insanely good with him and hard carry." That's a huge overstatement at best, a joke otherwise.

He gets shit on by so many champions I simply didn't have a chance to pick him in the last 2 months or so, nor I ever lost a lane to him post his release week.

Comparing Trynd and Yasuo is like comparing a ford escort to a ferrari. Yasuo is so much better on every front its not even funny. He needs a bit of raw mechanihal skill and apm tho unlike Trynd.

Look at my yasuo games compared to random people. Some still think that playing yasuo as an initiator is the best way to play but it's not true. Your supposed to play yas like a Yi or kat, wait til the enemy blows everything and clean up.

Yasuo isn't "underpowered", he is actually strong in quite a few match ups and can do well in the right team comp. He isn't as powerful as he used to be though, and for good reasons, he is in a good position right now and doesn't need any changes.

I play Yasuo a lot and you know how riven and him are quite similar because of their story lines but what I cant understand is Yasuo requires sooooo much more skill yet look at his ultimate compared to Rivens. Riven has a temp buff on her sword and can be uses ANYTIME whereas Yasuo cant and has much less impact in the game yes it looks cool but he is Yasuo make him OP

Put Yas on a team with knockups and he will beat the Trynd team 90% of the time.

Yasuo is not underpowered. He becomes one of the better champions to play when you become very experienced with him.

He's where he should be atm, not underpowered nor overpowered if you have the skill you can take yasuo without just face rolling the enemy.
