I'm still confused as to why Riot nerfed Lux, stating that "Lux is too safe," when champions like Zed, LB, Ziggs, and Xerath all exist. Is it because Lux's Q, E and W are all instant casting global abilities? Or is it because she has to stop moving to cast them..? OH I KNOW! It's her 15 jumps/dashes that make her so safe!

Why can't a champion without escapes be overly safe?
Xerath for example can farm/poke effectively for the entirety of lane phase without every leaving his turret. ( i know you mentioned him in your list but he's very similar to lux)
Now i have been out of the game for a while so i don't know what nerfs you're talking about but during Season 2 lux was a huge problem. If you're talking about when Lux was nerfed ages ago those nerfs were very needed.
You mentioning champions that weren't in the game at that time and champions that were completely unviable at the time doesn't unjustify the nerfs.
How does those champions existing not mean that lux nerfs were unjustified? She is safe during the laning phase and can actually go through the entire laning phase without risk unless you have a mobility spell because you most likely cant out poke her and even if you do she has a shield. Her ult having a super low CD was fun for lux players but having that kind of damage from 3300 range wasnt fun for most other people. She doesn't have a single skill that is less than 1000 range. At the time lux was strong and she got nerfed for it.
That's why Lux still has the least taken damage title. Really, Lux is so hard to kill, even assassins have hard times to kill her. If you're trying to jump her, you will get slowed, if you jumped her you will get snared, if you're near to kill him, her W will save her, even her W doesn't going to save her, she will use Zhonya or flash.
Different champions with different kits. Also, you shouldn't complain about season 3 nerfs. Really, do you really think she was balanced in her time?
I would have included Ahri and Kass, but pre 6 they aren't nearly as safe as the above champions listed.
Because Lux got nerfed before the likes of Zed existed.
Her laning is Caitlyn tier and 40% CDR Lux is stupidly safe while providing an asston of utility and damage

Lux hasn't received any changes (besides an ult bugfix) in at least 6 months.

They aren't global abilites. You can launch your q,w,e,r where ever on the map from where ever you stand.
