Penalties: LESS BANS!?

So let me get this straight. Not filling out paper work on time, means that you deserve a significant disadvantage in competitive games? You're telling me, that if a professional football player doesn't fill out a piece of paper, we should break his legs and force him to play?

It's illogical to penalize anyone by taking away bans. If the penalty was based on something that happened in game, then sure. But this was an out side of game thing, which directly caused them to have a severe disadvantage in their game.

WEll I believe the solution in this case is to simply change the rule so they have more time to finish... after all they had several days between the announcement/penalty before the match occurred....

Of course the rules exist for a reason... to prevent team abuses and the like. So not having any "extra-game penalties" wouldn't be effective either.
