Can Twitch's Poison Not Be Able To Drop A Jungle Camp's Health Below 1 Health Without Having Smite?

I swear, every time i play Twitch, if i have to leash i say "Finish the monster with summoner 11 ", and half the time people don't meaning my poison autos can steal the gold and EXP, if his poison could only bring jungle camps down to 1 HP without summoner 11 then he could leash much easier without effecting Twitch jungle (If people still do that any more).

I would say no, since this would hurt Twitch's ability to steal enemy camps. If your ally's going to be stupid enough to ask for a Twitch leash and fail to use Smite, that's on them.

How would this hurt his ability to steal enemy camps? He's going to use his E to kill the camp if he was trying to steal it, his passive would not be dealing the final hit anyway.

Who says so? If it can steal your team mates camp then the poison can definitely be used to steal the enemies.

Yeah but the damage of my jungler is lowest when i leash him at level 1, the lack of damage he deals increases the chances of Twitch's poison stealing the camp compared to me stealing an enemy's camp which would likely be later on in the game, if i'm looking to steal a camp i'd use actual damage abilities rather then a low damage DoT.

Funny story though: This one time early in a game, my friend was jungling, i was Twitch ADC, my friend was taking Scuttle Crab near Dragon, i thought it was an enemy but easily realized it was him, i intentionally auto attack'd the Crab saying "I'm going to laugh so hard if my poison takes that Crab.", i realize that his damage every hit was too much for me to potentially steal it, i was wrong, it showed having 1 health right before my poison took it.

if Twitch poison is killing the monster before your jungler then it's on them and not the poison

Heheh yeah try telling that to the junglers with out them raging at you and saying "fck you i aint going to gank your lane"even tho i warn every jger about it when i play twitch

Same rules would have to go for Darius. And Fizz W. Honestly though, I think that's just a failure on their part. You can hurt champions who are trying to take camps and walk away only to have to walk back to do the final hit, or worse. The camp resets.

Just a thought

don't take e right away, wait until you leash

The poison is his champion passive (Because I can't think of a better term to differentiate that from "Active abilities that come with passive effects"): Even if he had no skills leveled up at all he would still apply poison stacks.

you've never experienced aniva/ashe bot lane have you?

ashe applies slow, aniva freely gets double damage on E. its bonkers at level 1 + 2. good luck escaping. in addition to anivas 625 range AA harass.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't referring to the matchup, but the passives on the laners that make it possible to steal leashed camp.........

id rule out brand, he should know better, to use abilities at the start. twitch actually cant help it.

I have an idea. If you are getting a leash from a Twitch just smite at the end! OR if you still can't manage to smite properly ping him away and if he still gets your krugs/gromp just go to his lane, take 3 cs and it's like nothing have ever happened.

I warn my jungler every time I go twitch that I can't help leash for risk of stealing the kill. Some don't listen and go "fuck you Twitch. You don't fucking help." Which tells me its all the better I didn't leash because they probably used Smite on the first hit increasing the chance my poison DOES steal it and then we would have TWO problems.

I think this should be something universally done on all the champions that have some sort of DoT effects as passives (as opposed to dedicated DoT abilities like Malzahar's E) with all the large jungle monsters regardless of whether or not they have Smite on the justification that players shouldn't have to worry about accidentally stealing experience or a buff from your teammates.

I have the same problem when I play jungle Brand. You can't bring the camp low enough for your mid laner to take it unless you use your abilities. If you don't use your abilities, you end up taking way too much damage trying to tank the camp while trying to bring it down with auto attacks. If Brand's passive couldn't kill large jungle monsters by itself then we wouldn't have this problem.
