why is my team mad at me for split pushing and WINNING US THE GAME?

they told me that they never see me in team fights (they can win 4v5 and they did) and i split push and won us the game and they got mad. why?

Because Split pushing does not always win the game, it can sometimes, but other times it the reason the game is lost. I have seen it when I am with team who 5 v 5 would win, but the split push buggers off, and then a team fight happens and we are 4 - 5 as split pusher as decided that pushing a way for 5 mins to get near a tower is more important that winning the team fight. So every time you split push your asking your team to pick up your slack and win 4 v 5, yes this does happen and sometimes it very effective, but just as much of time, its a bad move and it costs the game.

I think its very much a judgement call, but sometimes its like why the fek are you split pushing, If you were just here to help your team we could win the fight and push more towers together. I think people get upset because a lot time Split pushers are Hero/Rambo types, who think everything they do is perfect and think they split pushing wins the game every-time, then they normally get salty when the rest of team asking for support and you to drop your minion wave and come help the team and stop trying to be hero and be the team player instead.

My view a lot time is split pushers its about the glory and look at me, I carried the team...no all of them, but a lot time its like, you should have been their to help the team, not be the other side of the map trying to force them peel off, because if they don't you have left your team 4 v 5 and they might not always win that fight. I think there is def a time and place for split pushes, but I also think it happens way to much than needed, its normally tops that are worst for this, Yazo are normally worst, and I honestly think most of time, being with your team and working together will win the game more than you going off solo and trying to be hero...

in the team fights they needed me i was there, but we had fed adc and ig so they didnt need me most of the times
