Bloodrazor + elise's spiders
So it came to my attention that Elise's spiders do "basic attacks" does this mean that they would proc blood razors % of health on hit damage? Let me know :) if so get ready for a new meta

Spiderlings do not apply onhit effects, or spell affects, so Rylais and Bloodrazor %dmg wouldn't work on them like they would for Malz's voidlings(which is why he's strong in the jgl)
alright thank you thats sad for me :(
Her spiderlings behave exactly like voidlings - they don't proc on-hit, but they do proc on-spell effects. And that's also not the reason he works well in the jungle, it's that his voidlings have huge dps vs targets that don't run away like junglemonsters while also tanking them.
Pretty sure that only Rylai's/Hextech Gunblade is effected by pets as on-spell effects, as they are uniquely pointed out in their mechanics (Rylai's for pets is somewhat new, as is Hextech's all damage modifier). Other spell effects like
don't proc (despite the latter implying "all physical damage").
Rylais and Liandrys are flagged as on-spell just like ludens and spellvamp, if something procs one of those, it will ALWAYS proc the others aswell. And some pets did proc on speel since they exist, like zyras plants or tibbers, so that's not exactly new. And if pets do physical damage, they do work with deaths dance, just that 15% of the pets damage isn't that much usually so one doesn't really notice even though it stacks up eventually.
Just tested it. Liandry's does not proc, because it is an on-spell effect. I'm not certain on Luden's, however, as Elise's basic attack actually procs that (any magic damage... forgot about that). I don't know on Death's Dance, but I'd heard it doesn't, despite Gunblade doing it (and Gunblade does, I did check that).
Items like Rylai and Gunblade work on spideys, but not because it's a spell effect, but rather because the pets were given the effect. Rylai's didn't work in the past (because spideys never did spell effects), but because they wanted them to work, they made it work despite that. similar to Gunblade, but they simply made that proc off of all damage, even on-hit-effect damage, and apparently pets.
Despite the new summon capabilities, spell effects are still limited to castable non-on-hit damage you deal, with some exceptions (Kayle ranged auto, Cho on-hit-effect, Fizz Q, Twitch slow + poison). However, pets are not an exception in the general sense of the term spell effect.
if the spiders don't proc liandrys, thy also don't proc ludens, it may say magic damage on the tooltip, but means on spells as the rest. In that case, it's the on-hit in spiderform that procs on-spell and gave me the false impression that her spiderlings would do so as rylais and other spell effects are permanently applyed as long as i stay in melee range.
There is no 100% rule for spell-procs, as some on hit proc it, others don't, some pets proc it, others don't, only active spells are consitant in proccing it unless they use on-hit. The one thing that IS consitant though, is that either all on-spell proc, or non.
