Why is Dark Star Thresh disabled?
I played a few games as the skin before the disable, and haven't noticed any bugs. What happened?

Anyone else who sees Thresh come out of the fog of war experiences major lag every single time he appears.
when does he come back?
If you check http://status.leagueoflegends.com/#oce It says that some of the servers are going down for maintenance in the morning, this could be Riot implementing the fix :)
