Not playing ranked anymore

Its been weeks since I've played ranked because I don't want to get demoted out of Gold 5. As everyone knows, you can't control your teammates and who they pick or how they play...The game is so team oriented now (a good thing IMO) that it's not worth the risk of losing and getting demoted out of my tier and missing out on all the awesome stuff. What's the word on locking ranks near end of season so that we don't get screwed in someway but can still play competitive games?

If you need to camp a low mmr because you are afraid of losing it basically just means you really arent good enough. Its not your teams fault at that point. I can understand camping challenger or masters but there really is no reason to camp any other elo. If you dont belong you dont belong. You like most others probably think you belong so it shouldnt be a problem. Teammates cant effect you in low gold if you actually belong.
