Garen it seems is too much of a strong pick in the top lane. In my personal opinion, it is not okay for a champion who has an overloaded loaded kit with, low cooldowns, cc, no resources, and worst of all, his free Warmogs passive that gives him insane life sustain. I would like to see some sort of resource like mana added to him or a passive nerf please!

News flash:
Garen's passive is utterly useless until level 11. As passive's go in lane phase it's utterly useless. Without even knowing your game history I can tell you now your Junglers largely ignore top he plays safe till 11, scales and wins. And that's only if you pick melee, you shouldn't lose with a ranged top.
As a Garen main since season 1 all I can tell you is there are countless ways to shit on Garen in lane. He is out dueled by duelists, gets out tanked by tanks, and outranged by just about everyone else. Garen can do a lot, but he isn't a play making champion so he has to wait for his opponents to make mistakes. He's a Juggernaut, and their key strength is punishing mistakes.
If you think he's that strong it just means you made too many mistakes against him.
Garen is one of the most telepathed champions in the game. Very easy to avoid, counter, and straight up farm against. 9 times out of 10, most Garens just sit in a bush after pushing wave. There's nothing particularly special about him. People forget that his W was buffed recently and try to burn him with burst but he's simply going to absorb 60% of that. Garen is a sustain war and an easy one at that.
Overloaded? Wtf? His abilities are like the simplest and most straightforward in the game : Go fast (clean slows) + damage + silence Be tankier for a short while Spin Execute
How in the seven hells is that overloaded?
Garen is easy to counter and get countered to easily. He does have a strong kit but it's really telegraphed and easy to predict and counter. The only thing people tend to forget is the 60% damage reduction on the 0.75 sec of his courage and the increased tenacity. Other than that, pick Teemo, Quinn, Darius, Maokai , Kennen or anything that have good damage or is ranged and you win against Garen.
dude wat... all you do is build a hexdrinker and basically every damage toplaner outclasses him...
"low cooldowns" lol I don't think you've played garen before, his cooldowns are actually very long, especially his ult.
