Revert Aatrox, (hear me out)

It's not the same champion. Either make a new chanpion like old aatrox or revert his passive and give him the damage portion of his old W on the new one as a passive. The idea of a rework is to make the champion more balance while retaining the identity of the champion and the rework did neither of that, none of his abilitys are the same let's compared Aatrox's old abilitys to the new one.

Old Aatrox - passive, blood well, Aatrox gains a stack of his passive up to 5, when aatrox lands an empowered damage auto from W bloodprice he gains one stack. Ability also generate stacks of his passive, once he gains 5 stacks he becomes hellbent, when Aatrox is hellbent he gains bonus base AD and attack speed and apone dying he revives. He doesn't revive if his passive isn't up. Aatrox must stay in combat to keep his blood well up. Leaving combats makes Aatrox's blood well diminish.

Q(dark flight) - Aatrox jumps in to the air and landing in a target location targets in the targeted area take physical damage, those in the center of the impact are knocked up.

Aatrox's old W - bloodprice/bloodthirst his third auto dealt more damage or healed him based on missing health, he didn't heal unless he switched the active on his W. So his auto attacks where actually an ability.

E (blades of torment) Aatrox release the energy from his blade that slows and deals damage in line that gradually becomes narrower based on the distance his E traveled. It was a skill shot that was hard to land for an inexperienced Aatrox player. that's was is main harrasss ability in lane

R(Massacre) - Aatrox draws in the blood of his foes dealing Aoe magic damage and giving him AD and attack speed and bonus range.

New Aatrox - passive Aatoxs gains a passive auto Aatack that deals a percent of the targets health. His abilitys lower the cool down.

Q - three hit riven Q that knocks up

W - swain E with pull that you can walk out of

E- pathetic riven dash that has a passive healing factor based on damage.

Solution, revert Aatrox or give the new Aatrox the 3 hit damage part of his old W and bring back his old passive without the revive. And make his new R ultimate a Aoe Nuke thay deals damage and a steroid that gives range and attack speed and AD. The rework made Aatrox a battle mage not a juggernaut. If you disagree then look up the two classes

Did you every listen to Riot??? They clearly stated why old Aatrox was a giant problem champion. Aatrox is never being reverted, drain tanks are impossible to balance. Thats exactly why Swain (my favorite champion) got a rework also, and im okay with it, i understand why old Swain was kinda unhealthy.

Old Aatrox was a problematic champ. Bringing him back isn't a good thing.

Yes, there are plenty of other problematic champs, too, and I think they should all get the same treatment down the line.

They don't revert VGUs. Only Gameplay Updates get Reverted.

Lets bring back the aatrox from release so everyone has something else to complain about. Lets be real the duskblade, stormrazor thing has been going on long enough

Why not make a new champion that has what people liked about old Aatrox, while stripping away the problematic elements? Which was mostly the satisfying slam of Dark Flight, everything else about old Aatrox was kinda bad.

BRING US BACK OLD AATROX! There are so many problems in LoL that to say old Aatrox is problematic is not even legit! The rework is a bullshit!

Just the fact of how completely different they are is a complete insult. I have fun playing (jungle Ekko atm), but when I think about Aatrox it very much makes me not want to.

For real, though, reverting Aatrox AND designing another champion to put his reworked kit onto (it's not a bad design by any means, has enough damage to fight when ahead and enough CC to still contribute to the team when behind, letting it avert the classic feast or famine pitfall) would be a LOT of resources. Since they'd also have to update his old VO to have actual character interaction, and the new VO can't really be kept because it's still intrinsically Aatrox (it would need to be updated to have interactions towards Aatrox if it was kept on a Darkin, would need a bunch of adjusting if it WASN'T on a Darkin...)

Also, this is a bit more subjective, but old Aatrox's existence would make it really hard to ever rework Tryndamere when old Aatrox's kit was more or less what Tryndamere's rework should be. The sheer number of similarities between them, both in fighting style AND character, is why the two were tied together in lore. That's why I've taken to thinking that, if anything, Aatrox's old kit (or a variation of it) should be put on Trynd to solve multiple problems at once.

Old Aatrox was 1000000 times better but rito will never revert him
