Items that are currently lackluster:
Cloak of agility and Recurve Bow could get the Giant's Belt treatment (maybe even pick axe, but I doubt it). Rejuvenation Bead is just not worth purchasing on its own most times. (Heal and Barrier being popular summoner spells. Lifesteal being abundant, etc etc.)
Somewhat correct, but the real travesty isn't that most of these items are lack luster on their own, it's that the stats they give and the reason you buy them (the completed item) are generally not as attractive together. No one wants to buy the crit in IE without the passive of IE, no one wants the crit of PD without the attack speed, and Recurve Bow just builds into wierd shit.
Rejuvanation Bead on the other hand should be looked at and Avarice Blade is good at the moment, because it is a gold generation item.
It isn't included in the "one gold gen per player" rule which is strange.
